As Lake Windermere begins to thaw, we can swap out hockey sticks and skates for paddles, canoes, or kayaks and traverse the stunning calm waters. Here, you can spot wildlife and enjoy birdwatching.
If you want a more private paddle experience, head to Lake Lillian on your way to Panorama Mountain Resort. A forest encompasses Lake Lillian, leaving it protected from windy days.
